Don't give up the ship! Chances are there
is help for you with the "Hunters Guide". Wisconsin Forest Crop Law and New Managed Forest Crop Law. Under these programs, landowners pay a low, fixed property tax rate on their land in exchange for forestry management rights, and allowing the general public hunting and fishing access to this land. In fact, in 1982, the state attorney general ruled that landowners must also allow the public to cross non-forest crop lands to reach those parcels enrolled in the program. Forest Crop Lands have been around for a long time, but until now, the only way to find these parcels was to visit a county clerk's office and search through confusing legal descriptions. Roger has done all the hard work of searching out these lands and marking them on plat maps, and he has compiled his findings in the "Hunters Guide". Each "Hunters Guide" atlas list in detail, hundreds / thousands of acres of land in your hunting area that are Privately owned but open to the Public for hunting. The State of Wisconsin is covered by 10 "Hunters Guide" atlases. Each atlas features 5 or more counties. All counties are broken down using detailed township maps. One inch to a square mile with all landowner's names, and how many acres are in the program and which section they are located in. It also shows all public lands such a County, State and Federal lands. The Hunter's Guide Atlas Opens up Access To Wisconsin's 1.5 Million Acres for All Hunting and Fishing Enthusiasts. Makes A Great Gift.
